Chicken Parm Burgers Dish Guide

Serves 4

Five Ingredients

4 ¼ lb chicken burger patties (or 1 lb ground chicken formed into patties)

1 ball of fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 to 1.5 cups seasoned breadcrumbs

Pizza sauce or marinara sauce (to taste)

4 burger buns

From the Pantry

Olive oil (as needed)

Press the burger patties out to roughly the size of the buns and rub with olive oil. Sprinkle over some of the breadcrumbs and coat both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 400 F for 10 minutes. Remove and spread on some pizza sauce to each patty followed by some slices of mozzarella. Return to oven for 8-10 minutes more or until cheese is melted and chicken is cooked through.

Spread some olive oil on the burger buns and toast them in the oven for a few minutes.

Serve the patties on the toasted buns, optionally garnished with some fresh basil or other herbs.
