Five Ingredients

1.5 lbs ground sausage (Italian or breakfast)

2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

¾ cup roasted red peppers, minced

¾ cup pickled onions, minced

Everything bagel seasoning

From the Pantry

Dijon mustard

Olive oil

Lay the crescent roll dough out in strips. Grab about 1.5 oz of sausage and roll it out into a log roughly the same length as the wide end of the dough. Lay the sausage at the wide end and then spoon in a few diced onions and peppers. Carefully roll the narrow end back over the sausage and veggies and wrap it around the form the crescent roll. Pull the tips of the wide end up to secure the filling.

Lay on a greased baking sheet and brush with olive oil and shake on the everything bagel seasoning.

Bake at 375 F for 15 minutes or until golden brown and sausage is cooked through to 165 F.

Serve with fries, salad or roasted vegetables to make a complete meal.
