Juicy Lucy Dish Guide

Serves 2

Five Ingredients

1 lb ground chuck (80/20)

Yellow mustard

Bread and butter pickles

Brioche burger buns

2 slices yellow American cheese

Divide the meat into ¼ balls and form into patties that are slightly larger than your burger buns. Using a ring mold can make this process easy if you have them. Tear the American cheese into 3-4 pieces and place in the middle of one of the patties. Lay another patty on top and press around the edges to seal the two patties together.

Lay the patties into a cool, non-stick skillet and turn to medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until a nice crust has formed on the first side. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Season with more salt and pepper if needed. Set aside to rest.

Toast your buns in the oven or in the rendered fat in the skillet you cooked the burgers in.

Spread as much mustard as you like on the bun and add pickles to taste. Lay down the burger and top with any other toppings you like (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc).

Serve with chips, fries, salad or any other side you like.
