Five Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

2 T brown sugar

4 hamburger buns, toasted

¼ cup ketchup

1 bell pepper, finely diced

From the Pantry

2 T Dijon mustard

1 T red wine vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 T olive oil

Add the olive oil to a skillet over medium heat and add in the ground beef. Cook and crumble for 2-3 minutes or until mostly cooked through. Season to taste with salt and pepper and add in the garlic and bell pepper and sweat out for 2-3 minutes more. Add in the mustard, sugar, ketchup and vinegar and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5-7 minutes or until all the flavors are well combined and excess liquid has evaporated. Taste for seasoning and serve immediately on warm, toasted burger buns.
