Carolina Burgers Dish Guide

Serves 4

Five Ingredients

4 store-bought burger patties

1 15 oz can chili (no beans)

1bag slaw mix with dressing (or premade cole slaw)

4 burger buns

Yellow mustard (to taste)

From The Pantry

2 T olive oil

1T red wine vinegar

Preheat oven to 375. Brush 1 T of oil onto your buns and toast until golden brown.

Add another T of oil to a large skillet over medium heat and lay in the burger patties. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4-5 minutes or until browned on the first side. Flip and continue cooking until cooked through to 160 F in the middle.

Warm chili in the microwave or on the stove top.

Make the slaw by adding the shredded veggies to a bowl with the included dressing. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and a T of red wine vinegar. Mix thoroughly and set aside.

To assemble the burgers, brush a generous amount of mustard on the bottom bun followed by a handful of slaw. Lay down a burger patty and top with chili. The final product should be messy. Add any other toppings as desired and enjoy!
